BSB41419 (RTOID 22609)
In the fast-paced world of healthcare, the well-being of everyone is paramount and requires an understanding and implementation of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) principles. By gaining expertise in OHS, you’re not only safeguarding your workplace but also contributing to a culture of safety and excellence.
The Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (BSB41419) will enable you to lead, manage and monitor safe work practices across healthcare settings as per all relevant legislative requirements.
Please note: for the purpose of discussing current Victorian workplaces, the term occupational health and safety (OHS) will be used instead of work health and safety (WHS), or interchangeably. Participants will be introduced to the Model WHS laws and the Victorian state-specific OHS laws.
Applicants MUST physically reside in Victoria in line with our regulatory requirements. This course leads to a nationally recognised qualification and upon successful completion will be issued an AQF [Australian Qualifications Framework] certificate.

The evidence must be current, valid and confirm that you have shown competence over a period of time and can work under different conditions.
RPL assessment process is as rigorous as any other assessment. However, the type of evidence that you need to provide may be different from normal class assessments.
Below are the non-refundable costs involved with RPL assessments.
Please refer to the fees, charges and refunds policy for more details on refunds and payment plans.
There may be additional fees of $100 for each re-assessment per unit.

The pre-training review and LLND assessment is a process that assists 糖心原创 (Vic Branch) Education Centre to identify whether the training option is suitable for the applicant. The PTR also assists to ensure the applicant’s intended qualification is appropriate and meets the needs of the individual.
The data provided and collected is analysed by our qualified LLND Specialist and used to ensure adequate learner support can be provided and necessary adaptable training and assessment approaches can be implemented.
The steps involved in the PTR process include:
1. The applicant completes enrolment form and PTR questionnaire.
2. The applicant completes LLND (reading, writing, numeracy and digital literacy) assessment.
3. The 糖心原创 (Vic Branch) Education staff completes the PTR assessment form to record the outcome of the PTR and LLND assessment.
Based on the outcome, the applicant is recommended or not recommended for the course.
If an applicant is recommended with support needs identified, these are documented along with the support strategies and any reasonable adjustments required. This informs the development of the individual training plan and any adaptations to course material, delivery arrangements or other aspects of the course.
